Halloween in The Ridge

Halloween in The Ridge

Halloween is one of my family's favourite times of year.  Who doesn't love a day (or week!) of treats, fun activities and pretend play?  To top it off, Ridge Meadows is one of the best places in the Lower Mainland for Halloween fun!  From super spooky haunted houses and zombie walks to toddler-friendly leisure activities there is something for every member of the family.

Ghost Ridge
A 9,000 square foot dairy barn is converted into the spookiest haunted house in the Fraser Valley!  For the fainter at heart and younger members of the family be sure to stop by during the "Family Friendly" time when the lights are turned on and the scare factor is turned down (and admission is half price).

StrongStart Halloween Parties
Our local StrongStart program (Fairview Elementary) offers a Halloween party each year.  You'll have to check in with your local centre to see if it is something that they offer.  My oldest daughter LOVES this celebration.  It is a great introduction to trick-or-treating as they walk the halls of the school and knock on other classroom doors.  There are also many crafts and Halloween activities.  Oh, and it's all free for kids aged 0 to 5!  (Have I told you lately how much I LOVE StrongStart?)
